About Haulmere

Haulmere is an independent directory of US for-hire trucking companies. It turns raw public FMCSA records into readable profiles with comparisons: how a carrier's out-of-service and crash rates compare with fleets of the same size, which carriers are similar, and who operates nearby.

Data sources

• FMCSA Company Census File – registration, fleet, drivers, cargo, safety rating.
• FMCSA SMS Input – Inspection – roadside inspections, Sep 25, 2024 – Sep 24, 2026.
• FMCSA Crash File – reportable crashes, Nov 1, 2024 – Oct 31, 2026.

These datasets are published by the US Department of Transportation on data.transportation.gov with public access. As works of the US federal government they are not subject to copyright in the US (17 U.S.C. §105). Haulmere is not affiliated with or endorsed by FMCSA or the US DOT.

This release covers the 5,000 largest active for-hire carriers (by power units) that updated their FMCSA record since 2024 and had at least 10 roadside inspections in 24 months.
